Duke Arts returns to American Tobacco Campus on Wednesdays in September with a new season curated by Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Tift Merritt. This year’s theme centers foremothers and a lineage of women singer-songwriters who have shaped generations through storytelling and creative influence.
On September 30, come hear Madison Cunningham perform under the water tower. Cunningham moves between indie folk, rock, and art-pop, known for layered arrangements and fearless songwriting—an approach that earned her a Grammy Award for Best Folk Album.
All shows in the Duke Arts at American Tobacco series, now in its sixth year, are free and open to the public.
