Parker & Otis’ P&O Paper Launches as Part of the PopUp Series, Aug. 1-28
(Durham, N.C.) – July 25, 2019 – One of Durham’s most beloved institutions, Parker & Otis, is launching a retail shop at the PopUp @ American Tobacco Campus, August 1-28.
As an extension of the popular retail shop within Parker & Otis’ famed restaurant, P&O Paper will focus on those items dedicated to the tactile experience of putting pen (or pencil) to paper.
“I am never without a pile of assorted notebooks and an array of pens and pencils somewhere close by” says Jennings Brody, owner of P&O Paper. “And really it’s absolutely just the loveliest thing to open your mailbox and find a handwritten postcard or note waiting for you. That’s why I am so excited for the opportunity to open a little a shop dedicated to writing more on paper!”
P&O Paper extends Parker & Otis’ retail offerings alongside sister stores Tiny and Chet Miller.

PopUp @ American Tobacco Campus will regularly feature new entrepreneurs and their concepts. The revolving showcase deepens and enhances Durham’s role as “the Startup Hub of the South.”
The PopUp experience has spread from the single location to also include PopUp opportunities at The Bullpen.
