“Television technology giant TiVo’s (Nasdaq: TIVO) growth models are changing – and it’s because of services offered by tech-savvy subsidiaries, such asDigitalsmiths, which has 55 employees in Durham.

That’s according to statements by TiVo CEO Tom Rogers on Tuesday evening’s earnings call, where the California company, which acquired Durham-based Digitalsmiths in 2014 for $135 million, announced $102.8 million in service, software and technology revenue, up 17 percent year-over-year.”
